Renault will inaugrate the the launch of new cars this month by revealing its SUV, Renault Koleos on Thrusday. The french auto major Renault will launch its second car, the first being Renault Fluence launched on May 23 this year, after parting ways with Mahindra and Mahindra. Since then both the companies were working on a new SUV. While Mahindra is set to launch XUV 500 later this month, Renault is ready with its Koleos to be launched on 8th September.
Renault Koleos has already spread its word globally since 2008 and now with its facelifted desiel only variant, Renault Koleos crossover SUV will hit Indian roads for the first time. Renault is also looking frward for the launch of 4 new cars till the end of 2012. A range of Rs. 16-18 lakh is speculated to be the Renault Koleos price range. Koleos features comfortable interiors with leather upholstery to keep intact the sporty look. Along with this Cruise controls, Bose surround Music system and speed limiter is provided with the SUV. A 2 litre Dci 1995cc Euro IV engine exhibiting 150 bhp power is combined with six-speed automatic gearbox in order to transmit power to the wheels at every gearshift.

In reports it is also added that Mr. Len Curran, the VP of Sales and Marketing of Renault India affirms the media that the all new SUV model Renault Keleos will be launched in Diwali. It is also said that after this launch Renault will also launch three fresh models in India. The company follows a aggressive strategy in India and aiming to to share around 2.5% of Indian Auto market by 2013. India is one of the top three premeditated nations of Renault. Many other car maker are in the competition with Renault in India. Like the currently launched Renault Fluence is getting tough competition with other cars like Volkswagen Vento and Ford Fiesta.
