Nokia will launch a tablet soon

Apple, BlackBerry and Samsung have already announced their tablets and people are now looking forward towards Nokia to launch one. Nokia will come out with a tablet but according to the officials of Nokia people will have to wait a little longer than expected before they can get their hands on a tablet by Nokia.

The CEO of Nokia Stephen Elop said that the company will launch an extremely amazing tablet but when the conditions are right. Well this clearly indicated that there is a tablet on which Nokia technicians are working. But later Elop’s statement confirmed that when he said “Our engineers are working very hard on something that will be different relative to everything else that’s going on in the market”. Further he said “We could take advantage of Microsoft technology and software, and build a Windows-oriented tablet, or we could do things with some of the other software assets that we have.”

So good news for all the Nokia lovers is that sooner or later there will be a tablet launched by Nokia that will be something more amazing than other tablet’s in the market because Nokia will definitely try to differentiate its tablet from others.

Why conditions are not right for Nokia to step into the tablet market?
Well we all know that Nokia is facing a tough time in the smartphones market. People are saying that Nokia is no more a market leader in cell phones industry. So, the CEO of Nokia thinks that currently Nokia should completely focus on smartphones and once the company manages to gain success then it should focus on tablets. This seems to be a smart move by the CEO but the delay in launching a tablet will saturate the market more and Nokia will have a very little room to capture the market.

According to The Kerton Group “The problem for Nokia is that the existing tablets and associated app stores cover a lot of ground. The iPad developer ecosystem is able to spot market opportunity and extend the devices to meet it. That doesn’t leave much for Nokia unless their hardware is significantly different,”. But further it mentioned that Apple came in the cell phones market after years but still managed to capture a great share in the market so if Nokia has something extraordinary for the people all around the world it would definitely become successful in the tablet PC market.

No one knows whether stepping into the tablet market late would be a good or bad decision but Nokia lovers all around the world are waiting for a tablet PC by Nokia.
