Nissan Sunny sedan price in India

After getting a huge response from its hatchback Nissan Micra, now the Japanese automaker Nissan for driving more volumes today launched all new sedan Nissan Sunny Sedan in India. The sedan sunny is based on Nissan’s V platform, the same one that underpins the Micra. However the sunny is no Micra as it is adorned with a boot slap on and a completely new styling. Nissan Sunny is launched in 3 trims chiefly Nissan Sunny XE, Nissan Sunny XL and Nissan Sunny XV. Nissan Sunny price for the base variant, Nissan Sunny XE is tagged at Rs 5.78 lakhs, while the Nissan Sunny XL is priced at Rs 6.68 lakhs and Nissan Sunny XV has been tagged at Rs 7.68 lakhs (ex showroom price). Sedan Sunny is equipped with a 1. 5-litre petrol engine that makes 97bhp and 13.6 kgm of torque. That seems not to be a performance motor but it responds well to part throttle inputs and pulls well from low speeds, which is useful in traffic.

The engine is good till 5000 rpm but after this it gets trashy. The five-speed manual gear box is a bit notchy though and doesn’t like being hurried. The car offers a ARAI certified decent mileage of 16.95 kmpl which will help the car to definitely overcome the like cars Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento , Maruti Swift Dzire and Ford Fiesta. The all new Nissan sunny is offered in India in three variants under the names :- Nissan Sunny XL, Nissan Sunny XV and Nissan Sunny XE. The exteriors and interiors of the car are very well designed. The Sunny’s long, flowing lines, interesting headlights and elaborate rear section making the car more fascinated. Inside the car the quality of design is decent and fit and finish is a lot better then like cars in this segment. The front seats are comfortable, and there is a tremendous legroom at the rear seats. The long cabin is making the inside space a pleasing place to be. Although sunny's dashboard resembles Micra , but theres is some difference regarding Centre console, the dials and the audio system.

The car is ornamented with many safety and comfort features, which gives a feeling that Nissan sunny is not just an another sedan. Nissan Sunny specifications comprise air bags which are provided according to the variants price while ABS is present in all variants. If talk about advanced feature the car doesn't disappoint consumers as rear defroster, wheel caps, climate control, beige interiors, steering mounted audio controls, electric adjust mirrors, rear blower vents, keyless entry, CD player with aux-in and airbags for driver and passenger are offered there. Well everything is good enough to take the Nissan on high peak of sales but one thing that gives a feeling of incapacitation is that it is introduced in petrol variant only at that time when all its competitors are offering diesel variants too. So lets see how much response the new sedan sunny will receive.

Nissan Seden Diesel Price in India

Nissan Sunny specifications comprise 1.5 Liter K9K Dci engine which is expected to produce power of 85 Bhp at 4000 rpm and a peak torque of 200 NM at 1800 rpm. Currently Renault Fluence, Nissan Micra are some of the other cars which are using this dCi engine, but a diesel engine coupled with attractive price tag seems to be a perfect strategy for panic to its rivals like Toyota Etios and Maruti Swift Dzire and will make Nissan cars the largest crowd puller in India. Added to Nissan Sunny features suggest that the diesel engine will be a variant of Micra's engine crafted for a turbo guise and Variable geometry. It is said that with 1000 kg mass the car might be a very frugal sedan accommodated with safety features.

Nissan Motor India launched yesterday the petrol version of its Sunny sedan in India. With the apt pricing the car might fetch a good market share in this segment, but as now due to skyrocketing price of petrol the pressing need for the day is diesel and most of the contenders are swing in favor of diesel cars in India, so for better chances the auto group is planning to come up with the diesel variant of Sunny Sedan. The diesel powered Nissan sunny price in India is yet not revealed but it is expected to be priced competitively at no more than a lakh above the petrol variant. Nissan Sunny petrol version is offered at Rs 5.78 lakh for its base variant. As for launch, the Nissan Sunny diesel variant will be brought in before the end of this fiscal year.

About the gap for launching Nissan Sunny diesel some experts comment that when the company has diesel engine, then why to delay the launch?, But answer is as simple as fact that this time when oil marketing companies have been raising petrol prices in line with global crude prices, the diesel variant will create a huge sales and company is not in the position to maintain that, as for now the firm needs time to strengthen its dealerships in India. Well stay tuned for more updates about the diesel Sunny sedan, and hope to get it soon hitting Indian roads.
