Kamat Hotels (India) Ltd To Merge Kamat Restaurants, Lotus Resort Goa And Murud To Become One Of The Largest Players In The Hospitality Industry.
Promoters have taken a decisive major step towards consolidation of all business into Kamat Hotels India Ltd. by merging profitable hotel business and the highly profitable recession proof restaurant business owned by the promoters into KHIL. KHIL's Board has approved, the amalgamation Kamat Restaurants, Lotus Resort Murud (40 rooms) and Lotus Resort Goa (48 rooms) into KHIL.
Upon amalgamation, with over 53 units KHIL will be one of the largest hotel and restaurant chains in the country. This will help consolidate business in KHIL.

At present VKOFR has 35 Outlets out of which 9 Outlets are franchised.

As a result of this merger 28,61,035 No. of shares will be issued by KHIL. This merger will increase KHIL’S Turnover by Rs.15 - 17 Crores & EBITDA by Rs.4 – 5 Crores.
