The legendary Shammi Kapoor's last rites just concluded in Mumbai. The who's who of Bollywood were seen there -- apart from the famous Kapoor family members.
Bollywood had mourned the death of the actor who had this infectious energetic charm about him. Politicians, actors and fans united in grief at the demise of the man who was once called India’s reply to Elvis Presley.

Shammi Kapoor died early Sunday morning due to a kidney failure and other related complications.
He was cremated at Banganga, where his first wife Geeta Bali was also cremated.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan expressed condolences on the actor's demise, he posted on Twitter, "Last rites this morning at Baan Ganga for Shammi ji .. The end of another era .. Another soul that enriched our lives .."
The family waited for his grandson to return from the US to hold the last rites.
Amitabh Bachchan posted on Twitter a few moments back, “Gone ! Enveloped by flames, reduced to ashes into his abode in Heaven .. Shammi Kapoor ! Bhagwaan aapki atma ko shanti dein !!”
