LG mobiles, South Korea based company has recently made an announcement that it is going to launch a new slider phone in the Indian cellular market. This new member in the LG mobiles family is a basic featured phone. LG A200 price in India is expected to be Rs. 3,524. This new slider phone has a Numeric keypad Soft Keys, a multi-function key that uses part of the display to identify its function at any moment and Navigation/Control keys D-Pad.
The all new LG A200 specifications reveal that this new slider phone has a dimensions of 99.8 x 51 x 15.8 mm and a weight of 95 grams. This new phone is composed of a TFT 2.2 inches display screen which supports 65K colors and has a display resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. A low featured camera of 2 Mega Pixel which has a resolution power of 1600 x 1200 pixels is used. The camera is capable of taking still images only and not able to taking videos.
The new basic featured phone new LG A200 features a WAP 2.0/x HTML web browser for better Internet connectivity. This Java enabled phoned also supports a MIDP 2.1, MP3/AAC + /WMA/WAV player and MP4/H.263 player. A standard Li-Ion battery is used in this new LG A200. As far as memory is concerned this new phone supports a 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM as an internal memory where as it supports micro SD card for up to 8 GB external memory. One can store various music and image files in it. In addition to this all new LG A200 supports Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and USB port as various connectivity forms. This basic featured phone operates on all the frequencies of GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 Mhz.
