Maruti India is going to launch Maruti Swift tomorrow that is August 17, 2011. The new hatchback will have many competitors. Either Maruti Swift will hinder their sales or they will hinder the sales of Maruti Swift. Maruti India is launching new version of Maruti Swift with new features and specifications. The new Swift price is expected to around 6 lakhs. The new Swift specifications reveal that the car will be launched with six variants each having some common and some unique features which would differentiate them from each other. The body type of the car is hatchback. The new Swift will be launched with petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant of new Maruti Swift will have 1.2 litres engine which will produce the power of 87 PS and 11.5 kg of torque. The diesel variant of the new Maruti Swift will consist of 1.3 litres of DDSI diesel engine which will produce the power of 75 PS and generate a torque of 19.2 kg. The mileage of the petrol car is expected to be around 18.7 kmpl and that of diesel car is expected to be 22.9 kmpl. It shows that the new Maruti Swift will be fuel efficient.
